1- WHY I HAVE TO TAKE A DIVING COURSE?

2 reasons: It is not allow diving without trainning certificate and you must get the elemental safety knowledge.


2- WILL I BE ABLE TO DIVE?

Everyone may scuba diving but it is mandatory a medical checkup. It must be a Doctor who certifies you are enough fit to practise this activity.


3- HAVE I GOT TO BE A GOOD SWIMMER?

Not at all. Just to know simming and don't be afraid about water. That's all.


4- HOW OLD DO I BE?

Spanish Law says scuba diving starts at the 16th ages. Anyway there are many others activities designed for kids.


5- MAY A FRIEND TEACH ME?

No. The only official person who can teach to dive is a certified dive instructor.


6- WHICH ORGANISATION DO I CHOOSE?

Among the existing organisations (PADI, CMAS, ACUC, SSI, FEDAS, NAUI,...) PADI certified more than double of the rest together.


7- WHERE DO I GET THE COURSE?

Think about time. It's recommended to spend your holidays diving, not geting a course, isn't it?.


8- WHICH SCHOOL DO I CHOOSE?

Look for a reliable school. Realize that facilities are a remarkable healht company signal about the quality of the course you're going to get. Do not hesitate asking deeply for details and refuse what it is suspicious.


9- HOW MUCH IT COST?

Look out! Cheapest sometimes could be expensive. Bargains can hide traps. Get complete information over what's included and not included. Remember that we're talking about something really important: your security.


10- WHEN DO I GET IT?

At anytime it's okay meanwhile the sea is calm, but Spring and Autumn are a non-crowdy dates with warm weather conditions. Sooner is better in case of you're planning a nice trip with fine diving spots.


11- WHAT TIMETABLE DO I CHOOSE?

As much options school can offer (morning, afternoon, evening, weekends), more flexible for you. Better.


12- WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I GET?

All the equipment are included (boots aren't because hygienic reasons). Always is better to use your own gear. Thinking to buy the basic: mask, snorkel, fins, ask your instructor.


13- DO I NEED AN INSSURANCE?

Yes. It must be included. Ask for a copy.


14- IT'S WORTH TO DIVE?

Absolutely YES. To be 45 min underwater is one of the most exciting experiences we can enjoy thanks to technology. Thuosands of destinations where you could dive so, thousands of unforgettable moments.
